Kanada · 1999 · game

Volumetric 3D Flight Vectors and the Sensors Manager

Rejecting flat, 2D terrain planes masquerading as space, Relic rendered a completely boundless volumetric cosmos. Utilizing the tactical 'Sensors Manager', commanders navigated fighters, ion cannon frigates, and salvage corvettes along pitch, yaw, and vertical Z-axis depth vectors, executing multi-directional pincer maneuvers beneath stellar nebulae.

Kharak is Burning: Interactive Cinema's Greatest Tragedy

Discovering a guidestone in the sands of Kharak bearing their true ancestral name 'Hiigara', the Kushan constructed a monumental Mothership guided by neuro-linked scientist Karan S'jet. Returning from a test jump to find their homeworld incinerated into ash by the Taiidan Empire—scored to the haunting choral elegy of Samuel Barber's 'Adagio for Strings'—the sequence cemented Homeworld as a transcendent artistic landmark.
