Founded in 2009 in Tangerang, Indonesia by Kris Antoni and Cipto Adiguno, Toge Productions evolved from a prolific web Flash studio into Southeast Asia's foremost narrative-driven independent developer and incubator. Renowned for Coffee Talk—a heartwarming barista dialogue simulator conceived by the late Mohammad Fahmi—and the critically lauded A Space for the Unbound, Toge is a pillar of regional storytelling.

From Viral Flash Strategy to Coffee Talk

Initially finding widespread international success with their addictive browser series Infectonator, Toge pivoted toward deeply humanistic narrative projects. Conceived during an internal game jam by creative lead Mohammad Fahmi, Coffee Talk captured a global audience by setting a cozy coffee-brewing dialogue experience in an urban fantasy Seattle populated by succubi, aliens, and werewolves accompanied by chill lo-fi beats.

Cultural Empathy in A Space for the Unbound

Co-developed with Surabaya-based Mojiken Studio, A Space for the Unbound explored anxiety, depression, and teenage love set against the nostalgic backdrop of late-1990s rural Java. Earning a nomination for Games for Change at The Game Awards 2023, Toge solidified its reputation for producing compassionate, culturally nuanced masterworks while providing funding and mentorship across Indonesian indie studios.
