From Distribution to Chrome Engine

Originating as an educational software distributor, Marchewka transitioned Techland into 3D development with their proprietary Chrome Engine in 2003, subsequently releasing the critically praised Western franchise Call of Juarez.

Dead Island and Dying Light

In 2011, Dead Island achieved monumental global sales. Refining their mechanics in 2015 with Dying Light, Techland merged seamless first-person parkour locomotion with a dynamic day-night threat cycle, engaging tens of millions of players.
