Staffing over 100 domestic and international developers, Steer was created to spearhead native game production as part of the kingdom's Vision 2030 economic diversification strategy.

As the creative production pillar of Savvy Games Group's $38 billion interactive entertainment initiative, Steer Studios focuses on domestic workforce training and IP incubation. Led by industry veterans, the studio transitioned from early mobile arcade releases to full-scale cross-platform Unreal Engine productions tailored for international audiences.

While the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) historically represented one of the fastest-growing consumer gaming demographics, local game engineering remained limited.
